Mahrou graduated in Integrated Communication Management and worked as an advisor for a Dutch bank. Dirk studied at the Art Academy and started his own company in 1996 in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
In the year 2004 they decided to move from Arnhem to Barcelona, in search of adventure. Together they started Cruising Bikes Barcelona in Spring 2005. They also started a bicycle messenger company ‘ imensajeros’.
The emphasis lies on quality and exclusivity, which comes forward when looking at the tailor made private tours and unique Electra beachcruisers.
Cruising Bikes Barcelona makes it possible for them to share their passion for cycling, Barcelona and an active lifestyle with other people.
