When you rent a bike from Cruising Barcelona Bike Tours you are responsible for it until you bring it back. This means that in case of theft, you'll have to pay the day-value of the bike. Therefor we offer optional insurances you can choose from. Our basic theft insurance covers the value of the bike minus the excess, this means that should the bike get stolen, you'll only have to pay the excess instead of the whole day-value of the bike. We also offer this basic theft insurance with a flat tire service. This service offers assistance should you get a flat tire or other technical problems on the road. The super safe insurance offers a theft insurance with no excess. So should the bike get stolen, you don't have to pay anything, it includes a flat tire service and even a third party liability insurance, so should you cause and accident in traffic, our insurance covers damages to third parties. ( Day value differs per model, taking in to account the new value, age, state. Excess is € 120,- for bicycles, € 500 for e-bikes and € 1100,- for e-cargo bikes. Price is per bike, per calenderday.

You can choose to have your bike delivered to your hotel, we charge 10,- per bike for this service. Our delivery service for bikes covers a limited area, and there are days (usually during the high season) that bikes cannot be delivered. Please, read our rental policies
